Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELAINE VIRGINIA MCVEIGH Elaine Virginia "Ginny" McVeigh passed away peacefully at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on July 19, 2014. Virginia was born in Montreal on January 20, 1920, and spent her early years there and in Toronto, where she attended Havergal College. She volunteered with the Grace Hospital Auxiliary in Winnipeg for many years, and enjoyed camping with her family, and curling and playing bridge with her friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence "Mac" McVeigh, and is fondly remembered by her son Bill of Calgary, her daughter-in-law Pat Stefanson, and her grandchildren, Kristin and Eric McVeigh. Virginia will be interred at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with her husband Mac. Her family will hold a private remembrance in Calgary. The family would like to thank the staff at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg and the Sturgeon Creek II Retirement Residence. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Grace Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
